Planning 2 Nights 3 Days Trip to Gir is good to enjoy. According to most travelers on TripAdvisor.in plan
  • Day#1 for nearby attractions in Gir and enjoy the resort amenities.
  • Day#2 for Lion Safari in Gir Forest, and relax in nature at resort.
  • Day#3 Visit to Somnath Temple or Diu Beaches.
Which type of food is served in the restaurant?
We serve pure veg meals which include Punjabi and Kathiyawadi dishes in Buffet style.
Do you provide pick up from airport or nearest railway station?
Yes, we do provide paid pick up from Rajkot, Junagadh, Veraval & Somnath.
Do provide pure vegetarian food at your restaurant?

Yes, we provide pure vegetarian food at our restaurant

Is there parking at the Hotel Anil Farmhouse?
Yes, there is an onsite free parking for cars as well as group tour buses.
Do you serve Jain food?
Yes, Jain food is available on prior request by guest.
Do you provide accommodation and food for drivers?

Yes, we provide free accommodation and food for drivers.

Is the hotel open between 16th June and 15th October, since the Gir Jungle Safari is closed?
Yes, Hotel Anil Farmhouse is open throughout the year. Many guests visit to enjoy the forest monsoon. We also provide an off-season discount during this time except for Janmashtami dates.
Do you provide guided farm tour?

Yes, We provide guided farm tour on prior request.

Do you allow Pet at your resort?
Pet policy: Damage caused by pets will be borne by the guest, if any.
Is there free Wi-Fi inside Hotel Anil Farmhouse - Gir Jungle Resort?
No, we do not provide Wi-Fi as we promote getting close to nature. However, free internet and Xerox facility is available at the reception if needed in urgent basis.
Rules of the Jungle & Hotel Anil Farmhouse
Jungle Safari

Please get Legal Entry Pass or Safari Permit for Jungle Safari. During Safari follow Rules & Instructions of Guide and Safari Driver.

Night Jungle Entry

Night Entry in Jungle / Jungle Safari is Strictly Prohibited.

No Alcohol

Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited. You can get high on the beauty of nature!

Safety First

Don't Feed or Tease the Animals and maintain safe distance from them. Don't get off your vehicle at any point in the Jungle.

Use Dustbin

Please do not litter around the Sanctuary & Resort. Kindly use Dust bins.

Garden Care

Please don't pluck Fruits & Flowers - Fine will Rs. 500/unit.

to know about Lion Safari in Gir National Park
Is it possible to visit Somnath temple and Diu beach while staying in Gir?
Yes, Somnath Temple (45 kms) and Diu beach (110 kms) are one day trip from Gir and many of our guests prefer to stay in Sasan Gir and visit both the destinations.
Can you make arrangements for Safari Gypsy pick up from the hotel?
Yes, guest need to show their permit at the reception and inform that they would like to be picked up from the hotel for the safari. We do not charge extra for this arrangement. Standard gypsy rates are applicable.
Do you provide Safari booking?
Yes, we do provide safari booking on guest request. Service charges are applicable. Permit is subject to availability and guest can also book a safari themselves through government website: girlion.gujarat.gov.in
Is the lion sighting guaranteed at Gir National Park?
No, lion sighting at Gir Jungle Trail jeep safari is not guaranteed and is by chance. However, lion sighting at Devalia Safari park is guaranteed.
What are the documents required for Gir Safari?
Gir Safari requires a government ID proof like Aadhar Card, Passport, etc. When going for safari please don’t forget to carry the same ID that you used while booking your Safari.
What is the best time to visit Sasan Gir?
The best time to visit Sasan Gir is between Mid-January to March as the climate is very pleasant and the number of tourists is also less thus you get a more enjoyable experience. Peak season is in Diwali and Christmas.
How far is Hotel Anil Farmhouse from Gir Forest office?

Hotel Anil Farmhouse is just 4kms away from Sasan Gir Safari office.

Is Night Jungle Safari allowed?

No, Night Jungle Safari is strictly prohibited.
