Gir Jungle trail is an open gypsy safari which takes the visitors deep into the woods of Gir forest. It is a 2.5 hours adventure filled ride where visitors get a true jungle experience. During the ride, tourists can spot many different animals of Gir Forest in their natural habitat. Chances of seeing the majestic Asiatic Lion, the king of the jungle, once you enter in to the core zone is an exciting and thrilling experience.
Guests need to book their safari in advance through the government website: www.girlion.in.
The permit obtained by this booking allows up to 6 people to enter the jungle. Additionally, gypsy and forest guides also need to be hired. Both, can be easily hired from Sasan Gir Forest office or by informing at the hotel reception. Hotel Anil Farmhouse — Gir Junge Resort is only 4 kms from the Sasan Gir Forest office. Arrangements can be done to pick up the guests by gypsy, directly from the hotel for their Gir Forest Safari (on prior request).

Devalia Safari Park
Devalia Safari Park which is also known as Gir Interpretation Zone – Devalia, is a 412 hectare fenced area. Devalia is established as a particular eco-tourism zone to reduce the overload of tourists from Gir Forest Visit. It is a good opportunity for tourists to experience the rustic beauty and wilderness of Gir Forest at a single place in safe habitats, it can be regarded as ‘Gir in a nutshell’. Visitors can see animals like Asiatic lions, Leopards, Sambhar, Black buck, Chital, Blue Bull, Jackal, Wild Boar etc.

Planning your Trip to Gir National Park
Sasan Gir is well connected to all the major cities of Gujarat through frequent, private buses as well as government transport. Most convenient is to reach Junagadh or Rajkot and hire a cab which will directly drop you at the hotel. Both of these cities welcome trains from most of the major cities of India. Alternately flights are also available up to Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Diu.

Or simply just sit, relax and rejuvenate your mind in the lap of Mother Nature and connect with yourself and your dear ones.
